Ridiculously daft things that your wife has done

The boiler has low pressure. Heating system stops, Mrs LMH can't contact me and can't wait 5 hours for me to come home to sort it. So she goes on you tube and tries to fix it despite me explaining to her exactly what needs to be done a few times in the past.

It's a simple thing to rectify, turn two levers, wait a few moments for pressureto restore to 1 bar. Happy days.

She gets a screwdriver out after watching an irrelevant YouTube video and plays around with valve screws which are in the system before the two levers. She's not 100 % sure if she's returned the screws to the original positions.

Big puddle under the boiler two mornings in a row now.

What percentage of the wives would have thought signing Jack Wilshire on a 3 year contract was a good idea?

Not a wife story but a friend works for a large German company (something like we Buy any Car)
Every Monday, they have a massive meeting in the canteen to welcome new starters and they’re (the new people)are asked to
tell a story about something stupid they’ve done.
One lad mentioned about how he’d broken his leg playing laser quest…followed by some daffy bird who said she’d gone on a
Tinder date that weekend – they decided to get some drugs before doing the deed so she sent the bloke off to buy some and he got arrested.
Not really the kind of thing to mention on you last day let alone your first

Th French rental agency charged me for a tank of diesel and 50 euro for siphoning the tank. Couldn't believe it.

If that had been Paris they've have charged me E500-600 and called me a cunt too. The last bit wouldn't have been unreasonable.

Thought about (for 1 second) saying nothing but didn't want to fuck someone's holiday up, or get charged for a new engine.

Mrs R did the petrol in the Diesel engine thing, fortunately she called me before she turned the engine on and drove off from the station forecourt. Mechanic I know went there and siphoned off the tank with a hose pipe.

It's possible to fit a petrol nozzle in a diesel but not the other way round.

Petrol nozzle will go into a diesel, as I’ve discovered :(

Re: Ridiculously daft things that your wife has done
I thought you couldn't mix up between diesel and gasoline as the nozzles are a different size?

I rented a diesel car in France, drove back to the airport at 7am and filled the tank (which was half full) with petrol.

A friend of mine told me diesel was heavier and the petrol would sit on top, and I should drive to the airport and own up, which I did.

You're expecting a lot for a woman to work out all the pros and cons of that.

Peckham.

Are you not worried about that? Are you planning to breed with her?

Mine (wife to be) seems to currently be obsessed with Gemma Collins, particularly since appearing on dancing on a ice. If there is anyone to look up to, follow on social media then surely there is someone better than this loud mouth. I just can't see the attraction. From the moment I wake up I can just hear snippets of her latest posts on Instagram etc (via a tinny mobile phone). Doing my swede in!

putting petrol in a diesel, and then trying to drive it and then topping it up with diesel all in the space of 10mins!!

Then blaming me when the car won't start as it was apparently driving fine earlier!!

Nice one Claret, I think same here.
My “wife” has been with me 25 years, but never entered into a legal agreement son perhaps not so daft.

The daftest thing my wife did was marry a lazy, unmotivated sod like me.

There are plenty of other daft things she's done but I can't be arsed to say what they are.

Re: Ridiculously daft things that your wife has done
Many years ago my son and his Gooner mate wanted to watch WBA v Arsenal and I was tasked with taking them there - we could only get tickets for home end.
On the morning of the game the wife was upstairs getting the kids ready .Down they come decked out in Arsenal shirts - when I explained that this wasn't a good idea as we had tickets for the home end.
"Oh right" she said and took the kids back upstairs to get changed - 5 minutes later they come back down - this time wearing West Ham shirts!!!!
